Mike Schmidt joined MasterCraft Boat Company in June 2018 as Chief Information Officer. Prior to joining Mastercraft Boat Company, Mr. Schmidt held VP/CIO roles at Brunswick Boat Group and Philips Consumer Electronics North America where he led information systems and technology strategies in alliance with business development, transformation and growth objectives. During his 35-year career, Mr. Schmidt has held several information and technology, logistics, supply chain management and business operations roles. In his most recent 12 years, he has participated in the marine industry and has experience in the electronics, semiconductors and savings & loan industries. Mr. Schmidt received his M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee and his B.S. in Computer Science from East Tennessee State University where he also serves on the University’s Computing Advisory Board.
